As Rappers Become Rock Stars

Visit us at www.eprmuisc.com Check us out on twitter at #entirelypr If you remember a time before Facebook, cell phones and Pandora, then this article is for you. It's hard to believe that it has been 20 something years since Snoop Dog, Eminem and the likes burst on the scene. I remember it like it was yesterday. We were fresh off the coat tails of the grunge and origins of gangsta rap eras. We were hungry for extremes which often meant sex, drugs and violence, America was still on top, it was the 90's. The movies, the music, Bill Clinton, it was a great time to be alive and it was the last great decade. For those of us who use to listen to music on cassette and CD, we often lost touch with a lot of the music, once we lost the cassette or CD. We might hear the song once in a while on a radio mix, but aside from that, the music was lost. Fast-forward to modern times and you have YouTube, literally a time portal to listen to those songs forgotten with lost cassettes an

10 Steps to Success for Indie Artists

www.eprmusic.com visit us on Twitter #entirelypr Step #1 Realize that no one is waiting for your music. If people are going to become fans of your music, you must approach the promoting of your live shows and the promotion of your CD releases with the same planning and professionalism as the artists whom you admire have promoted their music. Marketing music has changed radically in the age of the Internet and social media. That technology has the potential to take your music to the world. But knowing that it is up to you to let the world know about your music, is an important first step to take as a responsible independent musician. Step #2 Avoid telling people in the music business that your music is "good". It is a much overused and weak word. A&R reps, music directors at radio stations, the music press, and buyers at distributors and stores presume you think your music is "good," because you put it out to begin with! When they listen to it, they

5 Intriguing Letters To A 17th-Century Advice Column

Original article taken from www.listverse.com www.eprmuisc.com In London in 1690, John Dunton founded the Athenian Mercury, a magazine to answer “all the most nice and curious questions.” It was the world’s first advice column.Any literate person could write in with questions on subjects ranging from the philosophical to the scientific to the personal. One man asked where the wind came from. Another asked for advice concerning the drunkenness of his wife. In one memorable submission, a man asked why a horse’s “fundament” was round yet it emitted an “oblong excrement. 5. Young Men Back Then Had Similar Concerns To Those Of Today Q. American Horror Story "Drink the Kool Aid" Blog

Written by Jasen Keplinger www.eprmuisc.com American Horror Story fans were in for a treat with this week's episode titled "Drink the Kool Aid". Technically it was a Halloween episode, although AHS didn't make reference to the holiday during the episode. The episode begins as Kai (Peters) recounts the great history behind previous cults' mass suicides including Heaven's Gate, Waco, and Jim Jones. He then asks his followers would they be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice. Well would they? Kai later proceeds to bring in a container of Kool Aid and several cups. The women (Porter, Lourd, Pill, and Paulson) are brought in and made to drink or be shot. Everyone in the room drinks and only then does Kai reveal there's no poison. He only wanted to test their faith. Ally and Ivy (Paulson and Pill) finally speak once again after Ally shockingly joined the cult last episode. At first they seem to be getting along, that is until th

5 Crazy Conspiracy Theories & Videos

Authors - Chris Keplinger, Jasen Keplinger (articles referenced from Wikipedia) 1. The Mandela Effect  Similar false memories are sometimes shared by multiple people. For example, a somewhat commonly reported false memory is that the name of the Berenstain Bears was once spelled Berenstein. Another reported example is the speech Sally Field gave accepting her second Oscar for her starring role in the 1984 drama Places in the Heart. Field's gushing acceptance speech is widely misremembered and has since been parodied as excessive. She said, "I haven't had an orthodox career, and I've wanted more than anything to have your respect. The first time I didn't feel it, but this time I feel it—and I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!" Field was actually making a humorous reference to dialog from her role in Norma Rae, but many people missed the connection and have widely misquoted her as saying, "You like me! You really

Original article from  www.listeverse.com Warning : If you haven’t seen these movies, there are spoilers ahead. But c’mon, you know you want to read them anyway. These fan theories are too cool to miss. So, without further ado, let’s get to it. The Mist  Imagine hearing the noises of horrifying monsters all around you as they hunt you down, but you can’t see them because of thick mist. Then imagine coming to the realization that no matter what you do, you can’t escape. You flee with your son and three other passengers by car, only to run out of gas. The monsters are still around, hidden by the mist. So you do the unthinkable. You shoot your son and the other passengers with the four bullets loaded in your gun. Then you get out of the car while shouting at the monsters to come and get you. Something rumbles through a crack in the mist. As it becomes clearer, you see that instead of a monster, it is an army tank picking up survivors. Soldiers are shooting down the creat
