Reintroducing "Joe The Bluesman"

Reintroducing "Joe The Bluesman"   A west coast export making his way south, " Joe The  Bluesman "  is  ready for success, and he wants you to know it. The So Cal native is creating a strong buzz, traversing the country with his  one-man electric blues show.  Skoli  of  Skope  Magazine described him as  "a rocker who is a bit older and tamer, a wild man of So Cal traversing the country in his RV with his one-man electric blues show."  Now Joe is planning on creating more than a strong buzz with the upcoming release of the E.P “ Seasons ,” scheduled for release this fall. The E.P will be made available on all major streaming services. 1. Where are we talking from today? A. Atlanta, GA. 2. How is 2018 treating you so far? A. 2018 has been good so far for me. The earliest memory of music for me was in my parent's basement. I was maybe 2 or 3 years old. My brother's, mom and dad and I all dancing around to my dad's old vinyl collection. 4. When did you make music a priority? A. Music became a major priority in my life when I was 18 leaving high school going to college and in college, I realize that I wanted to do music for the rest of my life. So I dropped out and pursued music full heartedly ever since. 5. What inspires you daily to write & record music? A. Detroit, Michigan native and rap/soul artist, “Props” is a rising star who is setting his sights on making an impact in the music industry

Detroit, Michigan native and rap/soul artist, “Props” is a rising star who is setting his sights on making an impact in the music industry.  Skoli of Skope magazine described him as a “young emcee from Michigan who is gearing up to do big things in the industry." He is currently promoting his upcoming single release “Cold Blooded.” Scheduled for release in September of 2018. Props was born Cornell Mark Howard in Detroit Michigan on December 21, 1972. He attended Martin Luther King Elementary School and Muskegon Heights High School. Props started doing music as a hobby which led him to pursue a deeper interest in developing his talent. He states, “as I grew, family changes and new living, I concentrated on and was attracted to the music of the 80’s Hip Hop genre.” Props cites some of the artists who most influenced him as Rakim, Nas, 2Pac, Chef Rae, Dead Prez, Straight Hip Hop, and most importantly Essences.  Chicago r&b artist Brandon James had a great year in 2017. The success of his album “The Divine Collection” released last fall and the followed success of his single “Love Rising,” has put him center stage as one of Chicago’s leading independent acts.
