@entirelypr Q&A With Lyra-Star

1. Where are we talking from today?  I am at my studio apartment in the west Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California. 2. How is 2018 treating you so far?  It has been an intense year to be honest... I just made a big decision to quit my job as an educator (I worked in schools with kids for my whole life until this past June) and move to LA to pursue my yoga teaching and music career.  So far, 2018 has been full of change... good changes for sure because it means more time for me to focus on my two greatest passions, although it definitely feels a little weird to not be working with kids anymore and has been a challenge financially.  Essentially, this year marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life, and I am just getting started on this next adventure. 3. How did you get involved in music?  My mom made my brothers and I take piano lessons when we were younger, and I am forever grateful for that.  I stuck with it for a while, quit, came back to it, and played clarinet in th

www.eprmusic.com visit us on Twitter #entirelypr Original article from muiscbizacademy Step #1 Realize that no one is waiting for your music. If people are going to become fans of your music, you must approach the promoting of your live shows and the promotion of your CD releases with the same planning and professionalism as the artists whom you admire have promoted their music. Marketing music has changed radically in the age of the Internet and social media. That technology has the potential to take your music to the world. But knowing that it is up to you to let the world know about your music, is an important first step to take as a responsible independent musician. Step #2 Avoid telling people in the music business that your music is "good". It is a much overused and weak word. A&R reps, music directors at radio stations, the music press, and buyers at distributors and stores presume you think your music is "good," because you put it out to

Eminem v.s M.G.K

As of late the rap battle between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly has been heating up. Recently Eminem brought even more attention and controversy to the beef. On "Killshot," Eminem speculates of Diddy's involvement and funding the beef on Machine Gun Kelly's side. Em, goes even further and hints that Diddy, ordered the hit on Tupac Shakur years ago. You can't help but see the correlation between this rap battle/beef and the one that horrifically played out years ago. Two great artists lost there lives. Tupac and Biggie we're martyrs of the rap game and the beefs that stem from if. Sadly there were many players in the background pushing and fueling the beef. They walked away with there lives. Now as this rap battle fuels up, your seeing the same players in the background lining up and fueling the beef on both sides. Rap is the only music industry that tolerates such a hateful and destructive thing as battling aka beef. You can blame it on raps competit

Congratulations To Brandon James On His Feature In Stereo Stickman

Original article at:  https://stereostickman.com/reviews/brandon-james-there-she-goes/ Brandon James is one of Chicago’s fastest rising artists, and this single There She Goes adds further to an already impressive and widely enjoyable musical catalogue. There She Goes offers a quickly calming groove and an RnB aura that feels soaked in nostalgic vibes and genuine soul. As a singer, Brandon James reaches every edge of the spectrum with ease – his voice has an authentic smoothness that connects with the central energy of this type of song perfectly well. From the deeper verses to the higher moments of meandering bends and bridges, his voice meets the needs of the moment naturally. From a musical perspective, this song really shines brightly – the instrumentation has a gorgeously organic feel, right the way through, and not only this but every single performance and riff within is incredibly well presented. This is noticeable more and more so with each new listen. You get a sen
