Hip Hop & Soul Artist BankrollShell Releases New Music To Critical & Fan Acclaim

Florida-based artist BankrollShell stands out amongst a new generation of artists with recent release 

Born in Sasebo, Japan, raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Shelton R. Jackson III, aka BankrollSHELL stands out amongst a new generation of artists. Displaying his creative ability as early on as eight years old, the artist found comfort and solace in expressing himself through writing. His writing led to the pathway and birth of his debut single “Cross Roads,” released on January 20th, 2019. The single connected with an instantaneous fanbase recognizing the artist's incredible writing ability articulated in clever and at times soulful lyrics. Following up on the successful release of “Cross Roads,” the artist released the singles “My Turn,” on February 1st, 2020, and “Smoke,” on May 1st, 2020. A music video was released for the single “My Turn,” to YouTube on March 8th, 2020. Both singles were released in advance to the anticipation of the E.P “Blitz’d Emotions,” released on June 14th, 2020. The singles and E.P were met with critical and fan acclaim. Hip Hop Weekly has described the artist and his music as something “that will positively inspire a generation to the next level of music.” 

Currently, the artist is promoting the recent release of the singles “Rock Out” released on August 14th, 2020, and “Better Off,” released on September 11th, 2020. A music video is ready to be released to YouTube for the single “Better Off,” in October, 2020. Both singles are from the upcoming yet to be titled E.P set to be released sometime in 2021. 

With a fascinating message in his music that sparks inspiration, healing, and sheds light on social issues, BankrollShell is contributing to the voice of a generation. He hopes that his music helps to not only give this generation something to say but a way of being heard. His latest singles “Rock Out,” and “Better Off,” are currently on demand via Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming services.

TLC Highlights  The WWE paper view definitely lived up to the hype, well i guess. The paper view itself was great. Every match on the card was exciting, entertaining but there was just one problem, no tables no ladders no chairs. To call itself a TLC paper view the only match that used anything of the sort was the main event. The rest of the nights card featured traditional matches in traditional style. 1)  Where are we talking from today? A. At rehearsal, in a windstorm without power in Olympia, Washington trying to type by candlelight. 2)  How did you get involved in music? A. We are a team of 5 summoned by lord Zordon. Nolan (singer) Nolan's parents both had an appreciation for music and had him singing before he could properly form sentences. Introducing to him the music of the Beatles, Beach Boys, and Michael Jackson. Not much has changed, including his ability to properly form sentences or lack thereof. Cos (bassist) Cos's father was a strong influence in his musical career. Starting at age 7, he taught him how to play guitar, and encouraged him to play in the school jazz band from middle school through high school. At age 16, he got Cos a job playing bass at a local church. Cos met Michael during his freshman year at St. Martin's University, and that summer the band known as String Theory was formed, which has slowly transformed into The Forgotten 45...

1. Where are we talking from today?      A. I'm in Nashville, TN 2. Where did you get your artist name from? A. I was the lead guitarist for Rock & Roll Hall of fame Leon Russell from 2005 to 2007.  When I joined the band I had long curly hair.  Leon mentioned to me after a couple of gigs that he thought that  "I ought to have a power name".  Hence that day, I became J.
