Interview With Djime

1. Where are we talking from today?)

(1) Djime is an experimental electronic duo from Seattle, WA" and specializes in creating music for moving bodies and minds. In the fall of 2017, Djime recorded a series of live sessions for their first full-length album release entitled "Octopus Dreams".

(2. How did you get involved with music?)

(2)
Djime began as a solo project in which James was experimenting heavily with recorded loops & samples to perform live with a laptop & midi controller. One evening while practicing some new music at a local Seattle open mic James met Ian who was there to perform his own solo material. Their mutual interest in weird and alternative music is what lead them to get together soon after that for songwriting sessions and ultimately began working together as a duo in January 2016 with Ian playing drums.

3. Can you describe your music?

(3) Djime draws their style from swelling guitar builds, high energy synthesizer leads, deep driving bass, thickly layered distortions, mangled drum machine percussion, and live breakbeat jazz drumming.

4. Music wise, what are you working on?

(4) In support of the new album, Djime has also just released a music video on youtube for a track called "Untitled @190 v2.1". The video is an abstract mesh of contrast and pulsing intensity that accompany Djime's already striking music, like falling into a mind's eye that conjures a digital octopus dream

5. What would you like to say to your fans & the world?

(5) The message of their new album and video is to celebrate being weird and thinking differently, being an independent mind, and being open to what the universe has to say.

Florida-based artist BankrollShell stands out amongst a new generation of artists with recent release  Born in Sasebo, Japan, raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Shelton R. Jackson III, aka BankrollSHELL stands out amongst a new generation of artists. Displaying his creative ability as early on as eight years old, the artist found comfort and solace in expressing himself through writing. His writing led to the pathway and birth of his debut single “Cross Roads,” released on January 20th, 2019. The single connected with an instantaneous fanbase recognizing the artist's incredible writing ability articulated in clever and at times soulful lyrics. Following up on the successful release of “Cross Roads,” the artist released the singles “My Turn,” on February 1st, 2020, and “Smoke,” on May 1st, 2020. A music video was released for the single “My Turn,” to YouTube on March 8th, 2020. Both singles were released in advance to the anticipation of the E.P “Blitz’d Emotions,” released on Ju

Grisly BK releases crazy cocaine influenced hustler’s anthem "Robe On A Pope"

The up and comer Grisly Bk is back at it with a hot trap track -Robe On A Pope- music video. The hard gangsta music brought to mind The Notorious B.I.G.’s debut Ready to Die, unleashed back in 1994. The track highlights open-air crack deals, robberies at gunpoint on the A train and shootouts with the NYPD . The Brooklyn, New York’s rap artist Grisly BK has successfully brought the past into the present with his style. The superior mix constitutes content from the past that’s still relevant at the present. I like Grisly’s ability to embrace emotions as he delivers this track, be able to tone remarkably well yet the track is damn aggressive. If you’re hanging on the fence about this talented artist, be sure to check his E.P, two mixtapes and two singles to get a glimpse of this lyricist. This track portrays an artist that grew up on gangsta music in the crack era. It’s without a doubt that he listened to guys like Kool G Rap , I’m glad we have someone representing Brooklyn so dam

WWE TLC - No Tables No Ladders No Chairs?

TLC Highlights  The WWE paper view definitely lived up to the hype, well i guess. The paper view itself was great. Every match on the card was exciting, entertaining but there was just one problem, no tables no ladders no chairs. To call itself a TLC paper view the only match that used anything of the sort was the main event. The rest of the nights card featured traditional matches in traditional style. As mentioned earlier over all the matches were great but if your going to call it a TLC paper view actually have matches involved with tables, ladders and chairs.  Asuka vs. Emma  Winner - Asuka  Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann vs. Gentleman Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick Winners - Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann  Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James Winner - Alexa Bliss WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto vs. Enzo Amore Winner - Enzo Amore  Finn Bálor vs. AJ Styles Winner - Finn Balor  Kurt Angle, Dean Ambrose &
