1. Where are we talking from today?

A. Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love.”

2. How did you get involved in music?

A. When I was younger my mother would always play music throughout the day. Rather it was rap, jazz, or R&B. She used to catch me drumming on the table trying to emulate the beat that was coming through the speakers. Music was a way that I could express my emotions. I would write a song a day and edit some older ones frequently. She bought me a mini keyboard when I was seven, I would spend hours a day trying to play popular tones on it.

3. Can you describe your music?

A. My music is pretty much laid back. I talk about the everyday struggle that we all face growing up in an urban setting. I speak for the people who don't have a voice. I speak for the single mothers, the children growing up with no father. The everyday hustle trying to survive. The kid that they forgot about.

4. Music wise, what are you working on?

A. Trying to get my music to reach more fans. Currently, I am working on my first beat tape called "Knock on Wood" and my 2nd mixtape/album titled "Summer's Eve 2." This summer I will spend time traveling the country performing and collaborating with other artists.

5. What would you like to say to your fans and the world?

A. Thank you for supporting me since day one, it goes a long way and I truly appreciate you. I would love to see more people get empowered by my songs so sharing my work with your friends and family is greatly appreciated. The music I have online is just a little taste of what is soon to come. I have music and instrumentals.

1. Where are we talking from today? A. I'm in Nashville, TN 2. Where did you get your artist name from? A. I was the lead guitarist for Rock & Roll Hall of fame Leon Russell from 2005 to 2007. When I joined the band I had long curly hair. Leon mentioned to me after a couple of gigs that he thought that "I ought to have a power name". Hence that day, I became J. "Curly" Speegle... He was big on that sort of thing. His real name was Claude Russell Bridges, so it kinda made sense. 3. Music wise, what are you working on right now? A. I'm actually on a hiatus at the moment. 1) Where are we talking from today? A. At rehearsal, in a windstorm without power in Olympia, Washington trying to type by candlelight. 2) How did you get involved in music? A. We are a team of 5 summoned by lord Zordon. Nolan (singer) Nolan's parents both had an appreciation for music and had him singing before he could properly form sentences. Introducing to him the music of the Beatles, Beach Boys, and Michael Jackson. Not much has changed, including his ability to properly form sentences or lack thereof. Cos (bassist) Cos's father was a strong influence in his musical career. Starting at age 7, he taught him how to play guitar, and encouraged him to play in the school jazz band from middle school through high school. At age 16, he got Cos a job playing bass at a local church.
