2. How is 2018 treating you so far?
It is amazing! My new album just came out, I just graduated from Trevecca Nazarene university, and I have 2 dogs, and am getting married April 27,2019!

3. How did you get involved in music?
My grandmother influenced me to be a singer and inspired me to pursue music when I was young.

4. When did you make music a priority

Music has always been a priority for me.

5. What inspires you daily to write & record music?
God, my love for something fun and new and exciting!

Stream because I want people to listen to the music and enjoy what I have created.

Yes! I have my album Southaven out now!

On to my next album, Queen

10. Do you have any plans to tour?
I’m hoping on touring this summer!

11. When you are not making music what else do you enjoy to do?
I love to read, watch old black and white films, I love to walk with my dogs.

1. Where are we talking from today? A. I'm in Nashville, TN 2. Where did you get your artist name from? A. I was the lead guitarist for Rock & Roll Hall of fame Leon Russell from 2005 to 2007. When I joined the band I had long curly hair. Leon mentioned to me after a couple of gigs that he thought that "I ought to have a power name". Hence that day, I became J. "Curly" Speegle... He was big on that sort of thing. His real name was Claude Russell Bridges, so it kinda made sense. 3. Music wise, what are you working on right now? A. I'm actually on a hiatus at the moment. 1) Where are we talking from today? A. At rehearsal, in a windstorm without power in Olympia, Washington trying to type by candlelight. 2) How did you get involved in music? A. We are a team of 5 summoned by lord Zordon. Nolan (singer) Nolan's parents both had an appreciation for music and had him singing before he could properly form sentences. Introducing to him the music of the Beatles, Beach Boys, and Michael Jackson. Not much has changed, including his ability to properly form sentences or lack thereof. Cos (bassist) Cos's father was a strong influence in his musical career. Starting at age 7, he taught him how to play guitar, and encouraged him to play in the school jazz band from middle school through high school.
