1. Where are we talking from today?
I'm from Toronto, Canada

2. What would you like to accomplish in 2019?
For my music and brand to further gain exposure and to continue to connect with fans and inspire them through my original creations.

3. Has the government shutdown effected you or anyone you know?
I'm in Canada so the effects haven't impacted us the same over here. For those that it has, my heart goes out to them and their families.

4. What is your take on politics?
I have open-minded political views

5. Where did you get your artist name from?
I love a good play on words and wanted to highlight that I'm a unique artist Specyal (for unique) and T (first letter of my name)

6. At what age did you make music a pursuit?
At two I started playing piano and by six I started my official training. 

7. Did your family and friends support you in your pursuit of music?
Yes I'm very fortunate to have a very supportive family. They're all behind me 100%

8. Do you have an album/EP out now that readers should check out or are you about releasing singles?
Yes my latest EP "Girl Friday" came out earlier this year. 

9.  Do you have any plans to tour?  
Currently I'm doing a small promo tour for my new album

10. What artists are you listening to right now?
Lauryn Hill, TLC, Boyz II Men, Musiq, Alicia Keys etc.

11. When you are not making music what else do you enjoy to do?
I enjoy creative writing / poetry. Helping out other artists evolve their brands with their projects.

1. Where are we talking from today?      A. I'm in Nashville, TN 2. Where did you get your artist name from? A. I was the lead guitarist for Rock & Roll Hall of fame Leon Russell from 2005 to 2007.  When I joined the band I had long curly hair.  Leon mentioned to me after a couple of gigs that he thought that  "I ought to have a power name".  Hence that day, I became J. "Curly" Speegle...  He was big on that sort of thing.  His real name was Claude Russell Bridges, so it kinda made sense. 3. Music wise, what are you working on right now? A. I'm actually on a hiatus at the moment.  I started touring at 19 or 20 and stayed there for a lot of years, so I'm just enjoying a little downtime... 4. 1)  Where are we talking from today? A. At rehearsal, in a windstorm without power in Olympia, Washington trying to type by candlelight. 2)  How did you get involved in music? A. We are a team of 5 summoned by lord Zordon. Nolan (singer) Nolan's parents both had an appreciation for music and had him singing before he could properly form sentences. Introducing to him the music of the Beatles, Beach Boys, and Michael Jackson. Not much has changed, including his ability to properly form sentences or lack thereof. Cos (bassist) Cos's father was a strong influence in his musical career. Starting at age 7, he taught him how to play guitar, and encouraged him to play in the school jazz band from middle school through high school. At age 16, he got Cos a job playing bass at a local church. Cos met Michael during his freshman year at St. Martin's University, and that summer the band known as String Theory was formed, which has slowly transformed into The Forgotten 45...
